One of Metso Outotec’s “Planet Positive” mineral processing orders is several energy-efficient stirred mills for installation at a new iron ore plant in Liaoning Province, north-eastern China. The stirred mill installation, which will generate 11 megawatts of electricity, is the world’s largest stirred mill array.

This order appears as a September quarter order received in the Minerals segment, although its value has not been provided.

Previously, the company had agreed to deliver a primary gyratory crusher PG4265TM and three-cone crushers HP900TM to the same project, states Christoph Hoetzel, Head of Metso Outotec’s Grinding business line.
