With the ThoroughTec agreement, Liebherr Mining is expanding its operator training simulator bid

In order to perfect the skills of workers operating heavy mining equipment, advanced operator training simulators are necessary. It provides a mix of simulation and instructor-led training to lift operators to the target level of manufacturing, efficiency, and machine care, Liebherr says.
Liebherr Mining has most recently concluded a non-exclusive co-operation agreement with ThoroughTec Simulation to supplement the current Immersive Technologies collaboration. Liebherr adds that it facilitates new simulators’ development by providing technical knowledge and, through its subject matter experts, evaluating new simulators.
“This new cooperation agreement provides Liebherr’s customers with the flexibility to choose the solution best suited to their needs and preferences. Available simulators already cover several Liebherr Mining excavator and truck models, and further models will be developed based on customer demands.”
