Partial Results of the First Two Drill Holes

  • CH24-305: 105.21 g/t Au over 0.8 m, included in 14.16 g/t Au over 6.4 m, from 251.5 to 257.9 m.
  • CH24-306: 24.42 g/t Au over 1.0 m, included in 3.89 g/t Au over 7.0 m, from 312.3 to 319.3 m.

These two holes crossed the Eclipse zone at the targeted depths, showing its continuity at depth.

In light of the current drilling program’s encouraging developments, Sirios’ management has chosen to expand the campaign to 2,000 m.

About the Drilling Program Currently Underway at Eclipse

The updated 2022 Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) (BBA, Mineral Resource Estimate Update for the Cheechoo Project, 20/07/2022) shows 1.4 million ounces of indicated gold and 500,000 ounces of indicated gold; it does not include the high-grade Eclipse area, which is west of the main area of the Cheechoo gold deposit. Sirios is in the process of drilling to include Eclipse in the next MRE update.

Drill holes CH24-305 and CH24-306 have their end points measured between 230.5 and 280.0 m, and between 285.4 and 337.0 m, respectively. The results are still pending for the remaining samples from these drill holes.

Analytical Quality Control

At the Cheechoo exploration site, Sirios staff members described and sampled the drill core. The core was split in half; one half was kept for future use as a reference, and the other was submitted to an approved commercial laboratory for examination. Blanks and approved reference materials were incorporated into the sample sequence after a stringent analytical quality assurance and control program was implemented.

At the MSALABS facility in Val-d’Or, samples were analyzed for gold using the Photon Assay™ technique (PAAU02) on about 500g of crushed material. The full sample material was analyzed utilizing the Photon Assay™ technique for samples containing visible gold.
