Global Uranium has initiated a comprehensive geophysical survey at the Northwest Athabasca (NWA) Joint Venture in northern Saskatchewan, marking a critical step in its winter exploration campaign. This project, conducted in partnership with Forum Energy Corp., is focused on refining drill targets ahead of an upcoming winter drilling program.
Geophysical Survey to Enhance Drill Targeting
The geophysical survey, which includes Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) and Direct Current Resistivity and Induced Polarization (DCIP) techniques, is centered on the Spring Bay target. This site features a 4-kilometer-long gravity low anomaly aligned with historical uranium intercepts and significant clay alteration—key indicators of potential uranium mineralization.
According to Global Uranium, the survey will provide critical data on subsurface structures and alteration zones, improving the accuracy of drill collar placements. Field crews arrived last week, and the survey is expected to continue for approximately three weeks.

Camp Construction and Drill Mobilization Underway
To support the exploration program, an operational camp has been established near the project site. Essential facilities—including sleeping quarters, a kitchen, and drying rooms—are fully functional, while the core shack is nearing completion. With geophysical work progressing, Global Uranium has also commenced drill mobilization.
The drill rig is expected to arrive this week, with the first hole anticipated to be collared shortly thereafter. Snowpack reinforcement efforts have been completed along access routes to ensure the safe transportation of equipment.
